Volunteers
Ready to join YWCA Dayton on a mission?
YWCA Dayton is able to thrive because of the time and talents of our community. We rely on volunteers to help fulfill a variety of daily, weekly and monthly tasks of the organization.
We’re always in need of volunteers to help in both direct and indirect service capacities. Whether you enjoy working with children, cooking or clerical work, YWCA Dayton has an opportunity for you!
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
We are currently searching for immediate assistance in our Downtown Dayton kitchen! Please reach out if you are available to volunteer on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sunday mornings from 10am-6pm—any amount of time you give is greatly appreciated!
If you are interested, please email us a volunteers@ywcadayton.org
Volunteer Opportunities
-
This is our most popular volunteer opportunities. Individuals or groups sort clothes for Hope’s Closet - our in-house thrift store where everything is free for the women and families we serve.
-
Dinner is served each evening thanks to volunteers who help out in our Montgomery County shelter kitchen. We can always use individuals or teams to serve 4-6 p.m. for dinner in Dayton.
-
Volunteers help with tutoring, holiday parties and help host monthly birthday parties for children living in our domestic violence shelter.
-
Our signature fundraisers are only possible because of our volunteers. Inquire today about our upcoming opportunities!
