VAV 2024 UPDATE

In a continued effort to streamline expenses and maximize the effectiveness of donations given to the YWCA Dayton, we have made the decision to redirect our upcoming Voices Against Violence (planned for Oct. 22) from an in-person event to an alternative format.

While this was an extremely difficult decision, and we treasure the time to come together as a community to support the work of the YWCA in the region, it is our fiduciary duty to make the decision that puts us in the best financial position to continue to support necessary services. The move to pivot in-person events to alternative formats will ultimately better serve our region through donations and community support.

We are currently reviewing alternative options for the Voices Against Violence event, including whether to proceed with a live event format or pivot to a social capital giving option and will keep our supporters in the loop as to how we decide to proceed.
